5sk worked so hard creating these African Masks! As a part of our topic of ‘Freedom’ we have been researching the African culture and language. The children created their own designs, brought resources from home and completed these fabulous masks in 6 hours (excluding the paper mache process). We followed this work up with poetry and stories about a spirit living within the masks. Parents are welcome to view this work over in the year 5 building!!!

Well done children, you did a great job!!!! Mrs Khan
